TBITE sponsors many events around the Tampa Bay area each year. TBITE meets, on average, about five times a year in various locations throughout the Greater Tampa Bay Area. The lunch meetings and an annual banquet feature speakers on a wide variety of technical, professional, and administrative topics relating to the transportation industry. TBITE membership has its many perks! In addition to the networking and educational benefits of being a TBITE member, members receive discounted prices for the various events throughout the year!

Committees
On-Site Quarterly Meeting – Karddy Rodriquez, Icon Consultant Group
Role: Assist with pre-meeting activities to include registration setup, registration check-in, issue name tags, prepare receipts, and collect name tags after event.
On-Site Meeting Assistance – Amanda Corriera, PE, PTOE, AIM Engineering & Surveying, Inc
Role: Assist with luncheon/banquet set up, meeting speaker needs or A/V requirements and responsible for taking pictures during events to capture the TBITE events.
Fundraising/Scholarship – Elisa Powell, KCI Technologies, Inc.
Role: Encourage corporate, student and Keith Crawford Scholarship participation.
Events (Supersession, Engineers Week, Etc.) – Rachel Cantor, RC Associates, Inc.
Role: Represent TBITE with select professional events to include, but not limited to, attending pre-function organization meetings, participating with the selected events preparations as directed by the event chairperson, and report activities back to the TBITE Board.
Mentorship – Abdul Pinjari, Ph. D., University of South Florida
Role: Coordination with Student ITE chapter and TBITE mentorship volunteers
Awards/Nominations – Harry Mendenhall, Retired, Jerry Wentzel, DKS , Jay Calhoun, The Vanus Group of Gannett Fleming.
Role: Review nominations and applications for annual awards and select annual award winners.
Website Master – Alex Anaya, PE, PTOE, ESRP Corporation
Maintain and update the www.tbite.org website.
